Under Eye Light Filler

Under Eye Light Filler

The eye area is the region where the effects of aging are first observed. Especially in the mid-face region, the reduction of fat pads on the bone and the decrease in moisture content in the skin lead to dark circles and color changes under the eyes. These changes cause a tired, sad, and aged facial expression. Although age is the most important factor, factors such as chronic fatigue, stress and smoking are conditions that accelerate this process.

In the filler application called under-eye light filler, we use hyaluronic acid, which is one of the building blocks of our body and has water-retaining properties. The application is made on the bone and this area is supported from the deepest point. The reason this filler is called light filler is that it contains amino acids that provide illumination under the eyes.

The area to be filled is numbed with local anesthesia. The filler material is placed on the bone with blunt cannulas that do not have sharp tips. Then our filler is advanced to the necessary points with massage. Making the filler slowly, in small amounts, and completing it in 2 sessions if necessary is important for safety.
